History of Canter Electric

In 1948 CANTER ELECTRIC COMPANY founders began with a pickup truck, a roll of wire, and a handful of lighting sockets. Canter Electric Company grew to become one of the largest electrical construction contractors in the Southeast during the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Canter Electric Company provided electrical construction for hospitals, dormitories, public schools, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, multi-family dwellings, office buildings, etc.

In 1987, the first service-only division was opened offering each customer prompt, professional, cost-efficient electrical repairs and renovations. Customers delighted in the quality and availability of services - the need was evident for electrical repair and renovation services.

Today, CANTER ELECTRIC COMPANY continues to dominate the electrical repair and renovation industry by providing each and every customer - no matter how large or small - prompt, quality, electrical services at an excellent value.
